The SpeakSpace has collaborated with Doc2Us to connect you with their healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, dietitians, nutritionist, psychiatrist) to engage with them via real-time text chat services within the Doc2Us domain. On top of that, all of The SpeakSpace users are entitled and designated to selected free services from Doc2Us, as part of their altruistic contributions to society.

More information can be found on their website at is a platform for Dr Amer Siddiq, a Malaysian Associate Professor with the Dept. of Psychological Medicine, University Malaya and consultant psychiatrist in both the University Malaya Medical and Specialist Centre. He is active in advocating for better mental health having given many public lectures on psychiatry and sharing his thoughts to the public through the Malaysian Medical Gazette and also MedTweet Malaysia. He believes in promoting good mental health through awareness activities which he hopes will de-stigmatize mental illness.

He is a life member of the Malaysian Psychiatric Association and consultant psychiatrist to Befrienders KL. hopes to provide material for people struggling with a mental health condition. This initiative will assist them to be empowered with their condition. Dr Amer and his team believes that the first step to recovery is to be equipped with knowledge on his/her condition. This same philosophy will help in hopefully preventing a mental health condition too.

Finally, their team will also hope to introduce the global community to what is available in Malaysia for those struggling with mental illness.

Otherwise, consider visiting the UKMMC Psychiatric Unit, with walk-in service in clinic Mondays to Thursdays 8am – 11am.

If there are any urgent cases that turn up as walk in after that, triage will determine urgency of appt, same day by on call or fix appt.
